"Pasadena Idol" Competition Needs Teenagers

Looking for singers ages 16 and above for the "Pasadena Idol" Competition. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: PASADENA IDOL will be a two-round contest. You do not have to be a Pasadena resident to compete. The Grand Finale will be Friday night of the Festival, May 19th beginning at 6 pm. You MUST be available to attend both; auditions and the finale if selected as a top 10 Finalist. Auditions: Just like the TV show, Auditions will be closed to the public. No one will be allowed in the room with the contestant other than the Judges. Registration fee applies. How it will work: From the auditions, the top ten will be selected and will move on to the finale where they will compete to win the title of PASADENA IDOL. Participants will need to prepare 90 seconds of a song of their choice for auditions. Songs must be able to be played off participants' phones or with Bluetooth accessibility. Pasadena Strawberry Festival is a family event, and all song selections need to be family-friendly. No adult content or the use of profanity will be accepted. THE PASADENA IDOL winner will receive a $500 cash prize and will represent the PSF at various events throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to perform one song on stage Saturday night of the festival (in the arena) before the headliner, and up to a 30 Minute Set on Sunday on the outside stage.
