"Descendants" the Musical Needs Kids & Teens

Looking for kids ages 7 and above for "Descendants" the Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney's Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new show jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films. Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island. Until now! When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? Additional info: Parents should accompany minors and may wait in designated areas, or with their student(s). Singing. Directors will go over limited verses and chorus' of several songs from the production. Refer to the links attached to hear some of them. Those auditioning for the ensemble will sing group numbers together. Those auditioning for major vocal roles will sing those songs solo for the directors. Please prepare a chorus from one of the following songs based on the role that interests you. Dancing. Those interested in Villain Kid roles will be required to learn a short hip-hop routine. Those interested in other youth roles will learn a short Musical Theatre Routine. Those interested in adult roles are not required to dance but are not discouraged from dancing. Acting. The directors will have sides from the script for you to read at the audition. Please note that you may not be able to read every role that you indicated on your form. Note: There is a registration fee applied for those cast. The fee includes a script and t-shirt and helps recover expenses for staff and show expenses.
