"2023 Broadway Blockbusters" is looking for performers between the ages of 10 and 18. Please see the details below. About the project: "2023 Broadway Blockbusters" will feature exciting musical theater selections from the 21st century's best shows. The show will showcase the talents of the area's best young performers, with songs from popular musicals, including Wicked, Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, and various Disney musicals. With big dance numbers, featured solos, and more, performers will have the opportunity to highlight their unique skills and abilities while having fun learning about the joys of theater! As the first Barn Playhouse Youth Production since the pandemic, 2023 Broadway Blockbusters is sure to be a hit with performers and audiences alike. Additional info: ALL AUDITIONERS MUST REMAIN MASKED WHEN NOT ACTIVELY AUDITIONING. Please prepare a 30-second cut of a song of your choice, preferably a musical theater selection. Please bring a pre-recorded backing track or karaoke music selection to audition (on the phone or online). The track MUST NOT contain lead vocals. A speaker will be provided.
