ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. "Disney's Finding Nemo, Jr" The Musical seeking kids & teens aged 5-18. Please see the details below. About the project: Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Additional info: Note: there will be a Show Fee for all participants. Those auditioning should prepare a brief song, around 16 to 32 measures, from the musical theater or Disney canon that best shows off their voice and acting ability either a capella or with a backing track. No accompanist will be provided. A short dance combination will be taught. Some may be asked to stay for readings from the script. Rehearsals will be Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm beginning April 8th, 2023. If you are interested, please apply.
