"The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" Play is looking for individuals ages 8-14. Please see the details below. About the project: Dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C.S. Lewis / This dramatization of C.S. Lewis’s classic work faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels, and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and end the reign of Aslan. All the memorable episodes from the story are represented in this exciting dramatization: the temptation of Edmund by the witch, the slaying of the evil wolf by Peter, the witnessing of Aslan’s resurrection by Susan and Lucy, the crowing of the four new rulers of Narnia, and more. The supporting characters are also here: the unicorn, the centaur, and other forest animals, along with Father Christmas, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, and Tumnus the Faun. This story of love, faith, courage, and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life. Additional info: REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: (at Majestic Studio) STARTS 4/8/23. SATURDAYS from 10 am-12 pm (full cast). WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS from 6-8:00 pm (small groups). MANDATORY DRES's REHEARSALS: (at Majestic Studio). SUNDAY, MAY 14th from TBA. MONDAY, MAY 15th from 6-9 pm. TUESDAY, MAY 16th from 6-9 pm. WEDNESDAY, MAY 17th from 6-9 pm. THURSDAY, MAY 18th from 6-9 pm. MANDATORY PERFORMANCES: (at Majestic Studio). FRIDAY, MAY 19th at 7 pm. SATURDAY, MAY 20th at 2 pm and 7 pm. SUNDAY, MAY 21st at 2 pm followed by a MANDATORY STRIKE for all cast members.
