About the project: "Grease" is a popular musical that is set in the 1950s and follows the story of a group of high school students as they navigate love, friendship, and growing up. The musical features catchy songs and memorable characters, and it has been adapted for stage productions and films. The original Broadway production of "Grease" opened in 1972 and ran for over 3,000 performances. The 1978 film adaptation starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and was a massive box office success. Since then, many schools and community theaters have performed it as well.
