Casting Teen Girls for "Steel Magnolias" Play

Looking to cast girls ages 17+ for "Steel Magnolias" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The action is set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where all the ladies who are “anybody” come to have their hair done. Filled with hilarious repartee and not a few acerbic but humorously revealing verbal collisions, the play moves toward tragedy. The sudden realization of the characters’ mortality affects them, but also draws on the underlying strength—and love—which give the play, and its characters, the special quality to make them truly touching, funny, and marvelously amiable company in good times and bad. Additional info: Rehearsals will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning January 3rd. “Steel Magnolias” will open on February 17th and run through March 5th.
