"Mumblety Peg" Show Seeking Young Performers

About the project: This 2004 Arizona Award-winning production is an original musical drama that tells the story of a young man in crisis. The show presents the troubling issues of depression and suicide, as well as the positive impact each of us can have on the lives of others. Additional info: PRODUCTION DATES: February 17 – 26, 2023 Performances Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Callbacks (if required) Wednesday, December 7 at 5pm Auditioners are asked to prepare an age-appropriate monologue from a previously published work, not to exceed 2 minutes in length, and 16 to 32 bars of an upbeat song or ballad that best shows off their voice. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key (an accompanist will be provided). A CD or edited karaoke track in the proper key may be substituted for sheet music, but must be queued to the desired start, must contain music only with no vocal assist, and must come with any special connectors necessary for your playback device. Dress to move for the dance audition following. Auditioners should: – Complete the digital audition form (download from the sign-up page, or from this link, and bring the audition form to your audition!) – Bring a headshot, and resume if available and if not already submitted via the link above. Please see the attachment. If cast, your child will be receiving over 110 hours of professional direction from trained, industry professionals.
