Seeking Kids & Teens for "The Music Man" The Musical

Looking for boys and girls ages 8+ for "The Music Man" The Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by the curtain's fall. Additional info: Those auditioning should prepare a musical selection in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided — no aCapella. Auditionees should also come prepared to read from the script and learn some choreography. Performance dates are February 24-26 and March 3-5. If interested, please apply.
