"Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood" Seeks Teen Actors

About the project: Sherwood is a clever, high-spirited retelling of the Robin Hood legend, full of flying arrows, swordplay, and laugh-out-loud moments. Ken Ludwig’s script celebrates courage, justice, friendship, and standing up for what’s right—with plenty of theatrical flair along the way. Additional info: Callbacks may be held if needed. Please attend one audition and arrive at the posted start time. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides will be provided at the audition. No monologues required No accents required (unless you want to play!) Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for light movement Rehearsals Begin: February 2026 Rehearsals will follow a Monday–Friday evening schedule (6:30–9:30 PM). Not all actors will be called for every rehearsal. Robin’s loyal right hand and trusted friend. Big hearted, humorous, and physically bold. Requires stage combat coordination.
Warm, witty, and grounded. Narrates the opening of the play and guides the audience into the world of Sherwood. Strong storytelling and vocal clarity are essential.
Energetic and adventurous member of the merry band. Sharp comedic instincts and comfort with ensemble movement are helpful.
Smooth, cunning antagonist. Confident villain with charm and menace. Requires stage combat skills and strong physical presence.
Pompous, greedy, and blustering authority figure. A broad comedic role with exaggerated physicality.
Self important and insecure ruler. Excellent role for performers with strong comedic instincts and expressive reactions.
Forest outlaws, townspeople, guards, and travelers. Ensemble members participate in movement, group scenes, and physical storytelling. Ensemble members will play multiple supporting roles.
