"Doctor Dolittle JR." Play Seeks Boys and Girls

Students in grades 2-8 are invited to audition for "Doctor Dolittle JR." Play. Please see the details below. Additional info: Arrive early to fill out an audition form and have a headshot taken. Everyone will be asked to sing a little, read a little, and dance a little. Select one of the short song-cuts and a monologue provided by the directors to present. Memorization is not required. Monologues and music are attached and will be available at auditions. Everyone will be taught a short dance or movement exercise at auditions. Rehearsal Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 4:15-6:15 pm. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly, with three Saturday rehearsals from 10am to 3pm and possible extra rehearsals on the week of production. Some roles may not be required to attend every rehearsal. Please review the schedule to make sure you and your child can make the commitment. A mandatory Parents’ Meeting will follow rehearsal on January 27 at 6 pm, where further information on scheduling and production needs will be provided.
