About the project: "The Drowsy Chaperone" is a Tony Award-winning musical comedy, a witty "meta-musical" that lovingly spoofs 1920s Broadway shows, where a modern-day theatre fan plays a record of a fictional 1928 musical, bringing its fantastical characters and plot to life in his living room, filled with mistaken identities, gangsters, and a famously intoxicated chaperone.
