About the project: Thornton Wilder's Our Town is a three-act play following the lives, loves, and deaths in the small, fictional New Hampshire town of Grover's Corners (1901-1913), focusing on the families Webb and Gibbs, especially young lovers Emily Webb and George Gibbs, through a minimalist stage and a narrator Stage Manager to highlight the beauty, wonder, and profound significance of ordinary daily life and the universal cycle of growing up, marriage, and death, urging audiences to appreciate life's fleeting moments. Additional info: Please prepare: A short monologue, between 1 and 2 minutes. "Our Town" is centered around the small town of Grover's Corners and its people. Please come prepared to tell about a place that is special to you.
