Girls Needed for "Frozen" Musical

Girls ages 8-10 are welcome to audition for the "Frozen" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Frozen continues to be a global phenomenon, beloved for its powerful themes of sisterhood, courage, and true love. The story follows Princesses Anna and Elsa of Arendelle as they navigate growing up, unexpected magic, and the pursuit of connection that can thaw even the deepest winter. The stage production features all the iconic songs from the original film, plus new music written exclusively for Broadway by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Additional info: AUDITION WILL INCLUDE an individual vocal audition, movement audition, and possibly prepared readings/cold reads from the script. VOCAL AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: -Sing your best 16-32 bars (approximately 1 min) of a published Musical Theatre song. Accompanist provided. Please bring sheet music and have your start and stop indicated on your music. No soundtracks. A capella not preferred. Please DO NOT sing from the show. DANCE CALL: Everyone MUST participate in the dance call to allow the casting team to see what you are able to do. Please use the video provided to prepare for the dance call. Rehearsals First Cast Meeting: January 9 at 7:00 PM Rehearsals Begin: January 12 Sequence Week: February 16 – 20 (No conflicts) Tech Week: February 23 – 26 (No conflicts) Mandatory Strike: March 15 Rehearsals will run primarily Monday – Friday evenings, with some Saturdays as needed Set, props, & costume workdays will be on Saturdays. A definitive rehearsal calendar, determined from the availability of those cast, will be shared at the first cast meeting. Every attempt is made to set a rehearsal calendar that is personnel-efficient. Rehearsal times and required attendance dates will vary by character and ensemble group. Please be sure to list all conflicts on your audition form, including days we do not specify we have rehearsals. Any conflicts must be specified on the audition sign-up form.
