Seeking Girls for "White Christmas" Play
Seeking girls ages 9-12 years old for "White Christmas" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Additional info: Auditionees should arrive prepared to sing a short vocal piece (under one minute) in classic Broadway style, which showcases their own unique style and voice. Please bring sheet music or a digital accompaniment track. Accompanist and Bluetooth speaker provided. Auditionees will do a short cold reading from the script. These materials will be available upon arrival in the lobby. Callbacks: October 15. Will include a dance/movement audition. Strong soprano/alto belt The General’s granddaughter. Loveable and outgoing. A bit precocious, but wise beyond her years. Gets bitten by the stage bug and performs a solo number. Must move well and manage choreography.
