Theatre invites vocalists to audition for Heart of the Stage: Silver Screen Sings, a special fundraising event that celebrates the magic where theatre meets film. Seeking vocal performances —solos, duets, or small group numbers—from musicals that exist both as a stage show and a film adaptation. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: This intimate evening will feature songs from musicals that have made the leap from stage to screen—or screen to stage. Whether it’s a Broadway favorite brought to life in Hollywood or a movie musical reimagined for the stage, the night will highlight the timeless stories that connect both worlds.
