Child auditions open for the production "Kam D. Cain: The Elf on Broadway". See the details below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. TECH/PERFORMANCES: December 7-14 PERFORMANCES: December 15-21 Rehearsals will take place mostly on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. All actors will submit conflicts at auditions. The directors will work around as many conflicts as possible and create a schedule based around actor conflicts. Prepare one 16-bar cut (about 30 seconds) of any song that shows off your voice, one 16-bar cut of a Christmas song, and one of the sides provided. A kind and innocent elf who would rather be on Broadway than make toys. She is a bold person but very positive. She sees the good in almost any situation. Negative opinions of others don’t bring her down but motivate her to prove them wrong. Sheldon’s best friend
A walking ball of anxiety. He thinks if anything can go wrong, it definitely will. He’s super smart and creative. Similar to Kam, he would rather make inventions than make toys. But his inventions don’t usually make any sense. Kam’s best friend.
An elf whose dream is to be the number one elf but comes in second place to Sheldon. She’s a little mean but in the way a kindergartner is. She doesn’t realize that she’s hurting people to get what she wants.
