Seeking actors ages 16 and up for "Grease" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: It’s still the word! Grease is one of the longest-running musicals in Broadway history, and this new production will have you ready to rock ‘n’ roll! After a whirlwind summer romance, leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are unexpectedly reunited when she transfers to Rydell High for senior year. But can they survive the trials and tribulations of teenage life and find true love once more? Additional info: SHOW DATES: June 27-29, July 9-13, 16-20, 23-27 Performance times: Wed, Thu, Fri & Sat at 7 pm, Sun at 2 pm REHEARSALS Principal vocals begin in early May. (Alto A3– C5) Leader of the Pink Ladies; tough and sarcastic with a soft, vulnerable inside
(Alto, A3–D5) A good-natured dreamer. She is fussy about her appearance, and can’t wait to finish high school so she can be a beautician
(Range Alto, C4–C5) Loves the movie magazines and tries to act sophisticated and glamorous by emulating the stars.
(Alto, A3-C5) Funny, boisterous, and a compulsive snacker. Her vibrant personality is on full display around the girls, but she’s shy with boys
(Tenor, D4-A5) The youngest of the guys; boyish and naive, a hero-worshipping attitude towards the other guys. Ability to play guitar helpful
(Tenor, D4-A5; strong falsetto) the mooning champ of Rydell high is the class clown; full of mischief and half-baked schemes.
(Alto, D4-A4) A cheerleader; attractive, athletic, and given to bursts of disconcerting enthusiasm. Baton twirling helpful.
(Tenor, A3– E5) the classic nerd; brainy but physically awkward, pompous but gullible
(Alto, C4–C5) The best dancer at St. Bernadette’s; a loud- mouth who wins the dancing competition with Danny
(Tenor, G4- E5) a senior at Rydell, who has his own band, “The Gamblers.” His real name is Clarence.
