Singing Audition for "Jesus Christ Superstar"

About the project: Set against the backdrop of a full orchestra, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR follows the final week of Jesus Christ’s life, delving into the complexities of his relationships with his disciples, followers, and the Roman Empire. The concert version will bring to life the rock opera's unforgettable score, featuring powerful numbers like "I Don't Know How to Love Him," "Gethsemane," and "Superstar". JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is the first musical that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Time Rice produced for a professional stage, over 50 years ago. It is a timeless classic, that continues to touch new generations of audiences and performers, over and over again. Additional info: Come prepared with 16 bars of an appropriate song and sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Everyone will be expected to go through a movement/dance audition. Production Dates: Rehearsals: May 12 - June 13, 2025 In general, rehearsals will be held Sunday 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm and Monday through Thursday 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm. All actors are not called for all rehearsals. The actual schedule will be determined once the show is cast.
