Singing Opportunities for Kids in "Matilda The Musical"
Kids ages 6-15 years old are invited to audition for "Matilda The Musical". Please see the details below. Additional info: Please prepare at least one monologue attached. Review the musical selections attached for the role(s) you wish to audition for. Auditions will involve singing, bookwork, and dancing. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Candidates must complete a printed audition form and return it to the production team. Download the form attached to complete and print ahead of time, hard copies will also be available at the audition. Candidates will receive an audition number and are required to have their photo taken upon arrival. Please have your scheduling conflicts available. Candidates should review the audition materials and come prepared to perform as an individual and in group work. Performers should be prepared for 3-4 rehearsals per week (often 6:30 pm-9 pm on weekdays, and a weekend day). A detailed rehearsal schedule will be published once the cast has been finalized. Each performer receives 2 complimentary tickets to the production. If interested, please apply.

Honest, unassuming, with a prankster streak and a strong sense of justice. Must be a very strong singer and actor, equally. Strong dancing skills are preferred but not required. Matilda's classmate. Bruce is punished by Miss Trunchbull. A genuine, kind person with a fondness for sweets, Bruce’s spirit is broken by Trunchbull but bounces back stronger than ever. Must be a very strong actor and singer with monologues, scenes, and solos. Strong dance skills are preferred. Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: C4
