Children Theatre Casting for "Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical"

Performers ages 12 and up are invited to audition for "Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Jeff Kinney's popular character takes center stage as Greg's cartoon diary becomes a hilarious and heartfelt rock musical. Will Greg's plans to become popular lead him to sacrifice his one true friend? Can anyone avoid the dreaded Cheese Touch? Grad a hall pass and don't be late for an adventure familiar to anyone who actually survived middle school. Additional info: Prepare a 60-second cutting from any Broadway, Disney, or rock song. Bring your accompaniment. REHEARSALS: Generally Monday through Thursday from 7 pm-9:30 pm December 18, January 6- February 20 with a few weekend dance rehearsals. PERFORMANCES: 2 school matinees on February 21 and 4 public performances on February 21-23 at Pablo Center- RCU Theatre. If interested, please apply.
