Casting Call for Teens in "Yuletide Fright Fest"

Teen performers are invited to audition for "Yuletide Fright Fest". Please see the details below. Additional info: In the tradition of coming together to share spooky stories during the darkest part of winter, when the sun seems to be gone forever, and the cold has reached your bones, directors proudly present Yuletide Fright Fest, on December 27 and 28, 2024! Scare those holiday blues away with eerie new works by a wide variety of playwrights, authors, and poets, as well as some new interpretations of haunting classics. For the audition, performers will be asked to read sides from selected pieces. Pieces include interpretations of Edgar Allen Poe's THE RAVEN and NEVER BET THE DEVIL YOUR HEAD; original works from D. Chappelle, Abhishek Bhattacharya, Amber Fitzsimmons, Jason St. Sauver, and Jillian Carter; as well as some well-loved contemporary classic spooky tales. THERE ARE ROLES FOR EVERYONE! Rehearsals will be scheduled as actor availability allows. Performance dates for YULETIDE FRIGHT FEST: December 27 and 28 @ 7:00 pm at BLIXT ARTS LAB (2626 N. 48th Street).
