About the project: In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom! Additional info: Callbacks: Saturday, December 17th. Show Dates: February 10th – 19th, 2023. Please come with a prepared song— please bring a karaoke version of your selected song on a cell phone/electronic device (music only; no one singing on the track.) OR sheet music. Directors will have an Accompanist, as well as a Bluetooth speaker on hand. If you bring music on a phone, please make sure the phone can be connected via an aux cord/Bluetooth. No monologues are necessary. Auditionees will learn a short movement combination which will be emailed in advance, so comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.
