Boy & girls Wanted for "The Adams Family" Musical. See the details below. About the project: This Goth-comic-retro-revival musical is filled with the same wonderfully macabre family who inspired the iconic TV show of the 1960s, as well as several popular films. Wednesday Addams (the ultimate princess of darkness) has fallen in love with a “normal” young man and wants to invite him and his parents to meet her family…and that’s when her father’s nightmare begins! Additional info: Preliminary auditions will consist of performing a short contemporary monologue, as well as a short vocal audition. Callbacks will consist of a dance/movement audition, a vocal callback audition in which actors will sing specific songs from the show with limited preparation time, and an acting audition reading selected scenes from the show. PRODUCTION SCHEDULE: Cast Orientation: Thursday, January 26, 2023. Rehearsals Begin: Tuesday, January 31, 2023. The directors will rehearse Tuesday-Friday nights and Sunday evenings, with two Saturday night rehearsals close to opening night. Performances: 13 performances over three weekends, April 21-May 7, 2023, to be performed. Please prepare two pieces for this audition, a short monologue, and a short song: Monologue – A comic or dramatic monologue (60-90 seconds), preferably from a play or musical (other than this one). To play age 12; Vocal Range: A3 – F5 (alto) Pugsley is a funny, inventive, and sometimes annoying little brother who loves to be tortured by his big sister. Aware that family dynamics are changing around him, he wants to ensure he won’t lose his sister so he takes matters into his own hands. Believably age 12, but may be played by a child/teen/adult actor of any gender. Strong, high vocals. Preferably 5’ or shorter.

(Disembodied hand). Are iconic Addams Family members. These non-speaking roles will weave in and out as the story unfolds. Actor playing Thing must be comfortable with tight spaces! Height 5’ or shorter ideal. “Child” Ancestors - Stage Age: 8 – 13; Vocal Range (soprano/alto)

Cousin ItBoth genders8-13 y.o.All ethnicities
