Logline: Marcy, a teenage girl can’t bring herself to spend time with her family anymore after the passing of her grandmother. Nana is an independent short film shooting in Markham, Ontario over December 10-12 with crew from Predicat Media's team and York University students. The film deals with themes of grief manifesting in different ways, family as a coping mechanism, and the inability to communicate one's feelings.

Marcy watches her younger-self play with her grandmother in longing. Marcy is an active kid, bursting at the seams with energy. She runs, giggles, and sings like no one is watching.
