Looking for kids for "Gypsy" Play, Goodspeed Musicals 2023 Season. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: LORT Non-Rep $1008 weekly minimum (LORT B). Additional info: Please sign a theatre or pop/gospel song for the show/role you are auditioning for. Accompanist provided. Teams require you to please wear a mask as you enter the studio and take it off after you communicate with the accompanist on your audition material. "GYPSY" First Rehearsal: March 28, 2023. First Performance: April 28, 2023. Closing: June 25, 2023. Everyone entering the audition venue (i.e., venue employees, Equity members, non-members, casting personnel, creatives, producers, musicians, COVID Safety Managers, etc.) will be required to undergo a symptom check and provide one of the following prior to entering the venue: Proof of full vaccination. “Fully vaccinated,” as defined by the CDC, is more than 14 calendar days following receipt of a final dose of an FDA or World Health Organization-authorized or approved vaccine. (OR) Proof of a negative PCR test result taken no earlier than 48 hours prior to entry into the audition venue. (OR) Proof of two negative antigen test results (e.g., the first taken the night before and the second taken no less than 2 hours) prior to entry into the venue. Results of non-proctored at-home antigen tests will not be accepted. Equity members must bring their current union card and proof of vaccination status. Anyone with a medical or religious exemption from vaccination should e-mail "Vaccination exemption" in the subject line and proof of exemption attached in advance of their appointment.

The professionally adorable and spirited younger daughter of Rose. The baby and “star” of the family’s act, June is coddled and smothered by her overbearing mother. Young and dynamic child with major dance and singing abilities. Tap, pointe and baton-twirling a plus. Can do the splits. "GYPSY"
The older and plainer daughter of Rose. Overlooked by her mother, she plays second-fiddle to her sister June both on and off-stage. Shy but not without talent. Young and dynamic child, who sings and moves well. "GYPSY"
