Seeking Kids & Teens for "Into the Woods" The Musical

Looking for boys and girls ages 13+ for "Into the Woods" The Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditioners will need to prepare two songs for auditions. One song must be from Into the Woods, preferably a song by the character you are auditioning for. The other song should be a song from the broadway genre that really showcases your vocal range. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music for your song choice and Into the Woods sheet music will be available. The length of songs being sung will be at the discretion of the musical director. A resume and a photo are recommended, if not available, photos will be taken at check-in. There will be some paperwork to be completed on arrival. No recordings/backing tracks/acapella allowed. There will also be minimal choreography taught at auditions, so please dress appropriately. Cold readings will only be done at callbacks. All auditions are open, no roles are precast. Production Dates: April 21 through May 7, 2023. (April 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, May 5, 6, 7) Rehearsals will begin after the new year, within the first week of January 2023, and will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sunday afternoons. Tech/Dress (tech week) will begin Sunday, April 16, 2023 (double rehearsal that day), Monday, April 17, 2023, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, and Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
