"Ragtime" The Musical Needs Kids & Teens

Seeking actors ages 8+ for "Ragtime" The Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: All of those auditioning should come prepared to sing (with accompaniment) at least 16 bars of music from a Broadway musical (be prepared to sing the entire song to the end if asked). You are not permitted to sing with a CD player or A cappella. Print and mark your sheet music for the accompanist with the words START (where you want to begin singing) and END (after at least 16 bars into the song). Bring a current photo/resume and fill out the audition sheet prior to the audition (sheets will be available at the auditions). A cold read from the script may be requested during your audition. Callback auditions (if needed) will be held on the following date: Wednesday, December 14, 2022 - from 6 pm to 9 pm. Note that the fee applies. Rehearsals will begin in January 2023 (mostly Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday evenings). Please note any major conflicts during the months of January, February, and March. SHOW DATES: March 23-April 2.
