"Critic’s Choice" Production Needs a Boy
"Critic’s Choice" Production is looking for a boy aged 11-12 years old. Please see the details below. About the project: A New York theatre critic lives with his second wife (20 or so years younger) and son from his first marriage to a glamorous New York actress. The new wife decides to write a play, and there arises the dilemma. Does he go to the opening and write an honest critique, jeopardizing his marriage, or not attending the play, jeopardizing his job? Throw in the glamorous ex who wants him back, the producer who may or may not be making a play for his wife, and the sarcastic son who he pays to come up with one-line zingers to use in his critiques and you have a comedy that the New York Times called “fresh and funny”. Additional info: Production dates are March 10-26, 2023. Rehearsals begin in mid to late January. If interested, please apply.
