"Sealed with a Kiss" workshop 2023: NYC/Staten Island
We are seeking a boy and girl, aged 11-12, for a workshop of an original play entitled "Sealed with a Kiss", to be rehearsed and workshopped in early 2023. Synopsis: Leo is an ordinary guy who very much is a fan of love and romance. There's just *one* problem, he seems to be cursed in that, whenever he is kissed by someone, bad luck seems to follow him. We are looking to cast a boy to play "Young Leo", and a girl to play his first crush/kiss "Mary Beth" Note: Please be advised that there is *one* instance of a brief kiss between the characters of Young Leo and Mary Beth. The director requests that any parents or performers who are NOT comfortable with this not audition. All precautions will be used to make the performers feel safe and comfortable, including coordinators speaking with the performers and parents. This will be a paid role, with compensation TBD as the workshop comes closer.

Sweet, demure, and kind. She has a crush on Younger Leo, mostly for how brave and selfless he is in the face of standing up to a bully who was tormenting her the day before.
The younger version of the main character. He is a bit of a goofball, but is charming and kind. He is head over heels for Mary Beth, until he learns she MIGHT have given him the measles after she gives him his first kiss.
